The career I'm interested in is to take part in the fashion and beauty industry.
The reason I thought about this career field is because since I was a little girl I've always liked to dress up, create dresses for my dolls, and cut their hair. As I started growing I began to be very interested in the fashion world and look up to top designers, especially Karl Lagerfeld. Hairstyling came to me as a natural talent, and as I started cosmetology school my interest for makeup began. I then started makeup school and successfully finished the course and am now a certified makeup artist.
I believe a day at work in the future would consist of me looking around for inspiration and creating new clothes designs for Juicy Couture or maybe Kate Spade. If I decide to stay in the beauty industry, which I probably would most likely do, I would be managing my own beauty bar, welcoming in clients and conversing with them as they get their makeup or hair done, and making sure everything is running well.
